University Update - The Funhouse

As the 'Fortune Found' Greek House already housed six playable sims, I decided to open another. The first sim to arrive was Simon Clarke. I have high hopes for his academic success, after all he did nothing but whine about coming here when he was living in Fortunicity.

He does at least look happy for once.
His brother Dorian was quite happy to be at University, although I could tell he was already fretting about his younger brothers, especially Mickey, his favourite.

Regina Mellon decided to attend with the boys; she'd been one of Dorian's best friends back home, and he felt more settled knowing she'd be here to keep an eye on him.

Moving in Randy London seemed to fix his bugged skill point problem. He was ecstatic that Siobhan O'Reilly had transferred with him; he'd never felt like this about any girl before. He'd not wanted her to stay in 'Fortune Found', mainly on account of the incident with Ricky Cornier. He'd already decided to use his proximity advantage, and their 3LB attraction, to try and persuade Siobhan to commit to him long term.

Siobhan wasted no time in apply for a Greek House Charter.

Ricky wasted no time getting down on one knee, hoping she'd say 'yes'.

I'm so glad she said yes. This couple have alot of potential, and they really suit each other. Like I'd have let her get together with Ricky Cornier. They weren't even that attracted to each other.

Dorian and Regina do nothing but think about each other all day long. I'm wary of starting a romantic relationship between them, as Dorian is hardly the type for commitment. I'm actually thinking of rolling again for him at the end of his second year. I've never met a sim more unsuited to the Romance aspiration. Not that I have much experience of them. But he's far too caring, and doesn't roll the wants I'd usually associate with a Romance sim. He wants to gain points, and phone Mickey to chat, and buy things. He's one mixed up Sim!

By the end of the First Year, all five residents have been abducted by the Secret Society. I wonder why it's called secret, as everyone knows about it!

With everyone getting top marks, and making the Dean's list with relative ease, it was time to turn siobhan's hand to gardening. Amazingly she was awarded the Wishing Well, and she hadn't even attained her Gold Gardening Badge. I expect her high skill points helped in some way, although I'm not certain which skill helps with gardening ability?

Dorian finally plucks up courage and asks Regina for a first kiss. This is another pairing which will continue once they graduate. Awww ..... they look so sweet together!

The pair are possibly the first and last to enjoy college woohoo. I've now installed the risky woohoo patch, and from now on all relationships will be purely 'hands off', until after graduation of course.

With woohoo no longer an option, the students get down to obtaining some talent badges. Everyone wants to work on the toy crafting machine. Typical!

Siobhan decides to extend the garden, and whilst planting some eggplants for the use of future students is rewarded with her Gold Gardening Badge. She also has her Gold Fishing Badge, and is working on others. I shall announce each students achievements as they graduate, but am already impressed with how hard they've all worked.

As predicted, Dorian changed his aspiration at the end of his second year; he rolled Popularity, and now wants to have 20 best friends, which I believe may be obtainable before he graduates. Overall things are going well - touch wood!

Looks like this university house is going a bit better than the last. Happy Dorian is now a popularity sim, and he and Regina are together! Looking forward to seeing how life turns out for all these couples!

Wow! I am impressed! I can't play my Sims all in one house during Uni. Two is my max...any more and I get overloaded and don't accomplish what I wanted to! Have fun!

This house is doing really well too. Glad that your reroll for Dorian went well :D

As another note - your sims can't get pregnant in uni - even with risky WooHoo. All risky WooHoo affects is those sims for whom 'Try For Baby' would normally be an option. That's why I did Alanna's 30 Love IW when she was in uni - that way she could still WooHoo.

Looking forward to more

Thank you for sharing that information on the risky woohoo patch. I wasn't sure, and I didn't want a student kicked off campus or someting. Thanks for dropping by to all of you, I really do appreciate your comments.

Glad someone told you. Risky WooHoo definitely affects only adult Sims. I guess Simon is being a lot less annoying. Siobhan is just a skilling machine, isn't she?
Popularity and Fortune Sims work amazingly well together. I have a couple with those aspirations in my hood.
I can't do more than 4. I tried 6, and was about to die.

Nice update. Congrats on the wishing well already. Also Risky WooHoo is only effective in the hood itself so they won't get pregnant although part of me wishes they could in my game. Gotta love putting your sims through a bunch of crap.
