Even though I thought I'd been careful, a couple of days later I felt the familiar feeling of sickness I'd had when pregnant with Siobhan. Talk about mixed emotions. How would Simon take the news, how would I cope as a single parent if he decided not to go through with our marriage after his graduation. I was also excited, but somehow felt very insecure. Simon was surrounded by pretty young girls at college; and here I was, old enough to be his Mother, and getting fatter and more unattractive by the day!
I used my pregnancy to max out my skills, and I also managed to paint a masterpiece. Money was tight, and Simon wasn't able to help, although he's promised to move in straight after graduation, and be a proper Dad to his child.
Simon stayed over the night I went into labour. It didn't bother him, although we both got a real shock .....
..... natural twins! I'm old and wise enough to know the cheesecake trick, and not a morsel had passed my lips. This was double trouble, or joy, depending on how you look at things.
Welcome!Baby Eilish was the first, followed by Malachi.
With her dark eyebrows, and piercing blue eyes, there's no doubt who's the Daddy!
The twins birthday soon comes around, and I ask a few friends over for a party.
Simon was worried at this point, and wondered if you were really supposed to chuck them in the air! I reminded him I had done this before, and knew what I was doing.
Nice catch! This is Malachi .....
..... and this is Eilish!
I thought I'd invited any neighbours that might complain, but apparently not!
As the week closed, I was left with alot of clearing up, but felt much more positive about the future. Simon was turning into quite a reliable young man, and the twins seemed to be the making of him. I can't wait for him to graduate so we can be a proper family. Iim still a bit staid, but then Simon is old beyond his years, and I think we'll make a fair go of it!

Yikes - twins! Good luck Bridget. I'm sure a baby was a shock to Simon, let alone two. But looks like he's ready for parenting...
Congratulations on having natural twins. And they're both cuties as well.
Simon seems like he's going to make a great parent - but what will Siobhan think?

Twins! Wow, Simon just got responsibility heaped on him since he left home, but it seems he's finally straightened himself out. I wonder how Siobhan's going to take it.
Ooh, natural twins--I've only had those two or three times in the years I've played the game. Congrats! And the babies are darling--love their names!
Congrats on the twins! Or not, depending on how you look at it! lol Simon will have a ready-made family when he graduates. I do hope he is up to that! Congrats to Bridget for maxing her skills! Great update!!!
Your sims are smarter than mine. My sims think that cheesecake is a cure for morning sickness. Congratulations on the twins. (g)
I don't think I've ever had a cop come to the house to break up a loud party. How funny. heehee
Natural twins! Hurray!!! I hope Simon really does come to live with her cause she could really use the help now.
awww, Simon's sentiment is so sweet.
