I have to admit though, he's a little cutie, and Hepz adores him. Let's hope she feels the same way whilst cleaning out the litter tray.
Well, he soon grew up, as all things do, although I was expecting a ginger Tom. His new look was a complete surprise to both me and Hepz.
I keep up with goings on in the neighbourhood, and compared to some of the achievements of other residents, including Elijah, who's earned $100,000, my prize might seem rather paltry. It's not just the money though, it's the satisfaction of knowing I make a difference to the old sims' lives. I might join them in a few years, and I always remember that 'what goes around, comes around'. There's no way I'd ever want to be stuck waiting for a bedpan!
It turns out that either Hepz or Beelzebub is a genius, because that cat can now speak, stay and loads of other things. Hepz thinks she can get him to use our toilet eventually, although i don't think I'll live to see the day. It's just a hairbrained scheme to get out of changing the litter if you ask me. That girl, sometimes I wonder what goes on in that head of hers.
I was eventually promoted, and I now get to ride in the ambulance occassionally. Cleve is the driver, and we hit it off straight away. At my time of life it's all about companionship, and dignity, and I think Larry feels the same. Unlike my friend Esther who seems to have gone completely mad; she has no dignity or scruples when it comes to relationships, but that's another story. I'm not one to spread gossip, but the goings on over at her place are scandalous. I shall not be jumping into bed with Larry at the first opportunity, but I do like him. So I won't be introducing him to Esther either.
He follows me home from work alot now, and we even shared a first kiss recently. Although it's hard to feel romantic dressed in your work greens.
Winter's hit hard, and Hepz uses snow days to train Beelzebub. I wish she'd use it to gain scholarships, although her devotion to that cat has surprised me. It just goes to prove that even an old girl like me can be wrong when it comes to being a judge of character.
And she's good when it comes to work. Never misses a day, and loves spending time tinkering with speakers and decks at the local coffee shop.
Ironically, it's Beelzebub who's contributing the most financially to the household. The world's gone mad. Since when can a pet earn more than a teenager and elder combined?
I decide to take financial matters in hand! Who wants to earn less than a cat I ask you? My grandson made a fortune crafting Servo's; and if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me! I have to take alot of breaks though, as the work is really tough.
It's amazing, but with the three of us working, we manage to pay builder's to commence construction on the Family mansion. Elijah's due home tomorrow, and we're hoping to suprise him. Life's getting better, and Hepzibah is now happy to leave for University knowing I'll be looked after. I've told her to seriously consider her options at the end of year 2; does my grandaughter really want to remain a selfish pleasure seeker all her life? Then again, as the saying goes, 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone,' and the alternative could be far worse! Till next time, Eliza signing off.
The Clarke Family
OK, this is Mickey with a quick update, which should have been included before the University, but it completely slipped my mind, and had to be postponed until now. Not that it's very interesting, with just the two of us here.
I got to the top of the teen business career. Not my idea of a dream job, but it was the best available. I'm not sure if I'll continue with being a pleasure seeker once I hit the end of my second year at University. I don't know if it's really me. I never want to jump on the couch, or juggle bottles. I'm way to serious, and consider it childish. I'm much more into art and studying.
I made a really cool deal on some coins I sold, and bought loads more art supplies. As you can see, Elliot also has painting talent.
Now is not the time for him to be painting though. With $5,000 in scholarships, now's the time for him to head off to Uni. I know he's planning on asking Meadow to join him on campus. It's no big surprise, I mean they're practically joined at the hip already.
I'm not doing so bad myself, but someone has to hold the fort till Dorian comes home. As I'm the youngest I nominated myself; I mean if Elliot waits to go for much longer he'll be too old.
"No Elliot, it's not a self portrait, so you can stop your snickering. Anyway, I don't have a moustache, so why'd you think it was me? You'll laugh the other side of your face when you see what this baby sells for, just you wait and see!"
"$554, told ya!"
And that ends the week really. I now paint masterpiece's, and Elliot has finally gone. It's not at all lonely, it's peaceful for once. Gives me time for my art!

Oh well, that didn't last long! Ron caught me cheating yet again, so I've resigned myself to having no newspaper and probably roaches. The man is a little too obsessive if you ask me. He walks by my house whether we're friends or not.
Thanks for calling by Ron, sorry I was out!
After casing the house, Amin Bear decides there's nothing worth stealing. I was in two minds whether to call the police, as I thought he might be leaving. And then I remembered ... Oh my, the car! He's going to steal the car!
The police apprehend the burglar, but don't give me back the car. I don't understand it. Look Officer it's in his swag bag, I saw him put it in there just moments ago. No joy, apparently it's now evidence. At least I got a little from the insurance money.
All in all I've enjoyed my time without the grandkids, although I'll welcome them home with open arms next time. In the meantime, I'll continue having fun. With a collegue from work .....

A cat named Beelzebub? Heh. And yeah, I don't doubt that robotics is hard on an elder. Good job by Eliza and Hepzibah earning enough to start on a bigger house!
Mickey the artistic pleasure seeker. Maybe painting gives him pleasure?
Oh, Esther. Well, she's enjoying herself, at least... I agree with her, it's amazing that the cops don't give back the stolen goods after catching the burglar!
I'm glad that the Kings can get a bigger house now. They'll need it with Elijah coming home.
Mickey and Elliot are adorable. And you're right, it doesn't seem to fit his personality, but then you could always roll Romance.
Funny. Esther's really getting around. I hope Cherry doesn't walk in on one of her mother's "special friends" if she moves back home.
I'm guessing you're not too keen on pleasure sims? I have to admit - I find them a bit shallow with their wants. Good luck at Uni, Hepz!
Esther - you're slipping up, letting a cute officer like that get away from you!
the pets are so cute!
Go Ester!
Esther - shame on you for not taking advantage of the nice young uniformed man.
I don't like pleasure sims either - and at the moment I seem to be rolling nothing else... oh well, it's got to even out eventually... right?
